The magnetic structure of Yb2Pd2(In1-xSnx) as a function of applied pressure
Yb-based heavy fermions electronic ground state is determined mainly by the 4f electrons that are extremely sensitive to both chemical and external pressure, making this system particularly interesting to investigate quantum criticalities at the verge of two different ground states. To this aim, we propose the investigation of the magnetic structure of Yb2Pd2(In0.4Sn0.6) compound as a function of the applied pressure up to 20 kbar in order to better understand the possible re-ordering of the Yb magnetic sublattice that is supposed to take place at low temperature at about 10 kbar as suggested by recent muon spectroscopy measurements and DFT calculations.
