Unveiling short range spin correlations in the phase separated quasi one-dimensional magnet gamma-CoV2O6.
We recently carried out an experiment on gamma-CoV2O6 at D7, as a part of a wider set of studies on this material. A recent muSR experiment by us indicates that we should expect to see changes in the diffuse scattering above and below 7.5 K. In our previous experiment, we measured at 7.2 K and 10 K, and we do see some differences. To establish this more clearly, we need to measure more temperatures in this range, to be able to extract a clearer temperature dependence of the correlation lengths.
