- The experiments are run at 500kPa confinement and the experimental apparatus (an especially designed Aluminium 5083 cell) has been designed and tested up to 2MPa. Apparatus already tested at ILL
- 3 x samples, 38 x 70mm, <0.3kg made of Indiana Limestone (varying quantites of SiO2, Al2O2, K2O), flushed with a cadmuim-drugged water mixture in a fully recirculating aluminium cell
- The sample is to be flushed with normal water with traces of Cadmium in a fully recirculating aluminium cell
