Title

Topological magnon bands in 2D Van-Der-Waals ferromagnet CrGeTe3

Abstract

Topological magnon bands have been predicted and also observed in several materials,CrI3 has just been experimentally reported holding topological spin excitations with ~ 4meV gap at K points, it is also expected that similar 2D Ferromagnet CrGeTe3 can have topological magnon bands by induce next neighbour DM interaction or Kitaev interaction, but inelastic neutron scattering experiment is still lacking for this 2D materials. In this regard, Carrying out inelastic neutron scattering to study the spin waves and the gap at K point in CrGeTe3 will help us have a better understanding of the exchange interactions(DM interaction or Kitaev interaction) in these 2D ferromagnet system.
